Its a sad state of affairs that we have been beaten down to such a low point . I have been looking in here for over a decade and perhaps its just the time of year but at one point not so many years ago there would be at least several responses to our ongoing and shockingly bad conservative government and cuts cuts and cuts .

My tax on everything is up and up and up and yet no more money for anything .

At least HS2 ended how I thought uncompleted and several times the cost quoted , but that’s ok the tax payer is not going anywhere.

I am not sure money is the key here .

Its gross incompetence – how are this government still in power I have no clue and why the UK populace is taking it I have no clue either . I am at a loss .

It is as expected from this government for they have no care in their thoughts and fully believe that people should care for themselves or that families should do more. This shows that no one in government has learned anything and that they do not wish to do so.

It is reinforced in their attitudes to welfare benefits which are well below what is required to live on, where while increasing welfare benefits the welfare cap has not been, some persons receiving welfare benefits may not be eligible to receive the increase, when the increase itself is insufficient.

Even the National Living Wage increase is way below a wage to live on.

This government much more than others has no clue about what living costs are, when no government really wants to know for no government’s care, but this one is so much more so.

It is as though they believe that people only need fresh air to live on and even that is being restricted to not proceeding with a green economy by ignoring climate change while proposing to do care.

Many governments are not fit for purpose and this one so much so.

Social Workers should be taking strike action to improve their working conditions and to protect increasingly limited services. I cannot understand why and over many years, as a profession we have just absorbed increasing workloads, continued poor pay, working in excess of contracted hours, etc, all to the detriment of the children and families we desperately try to positively support. At least medical professionals have been fighting back
