We have been all categorised together. Where is the incentive in progressing within the council. The minimum wage has been increased but the people just above this do not seem to be moving up the pay ladder at all. I have a 17 year old apprentice working next to me on almost the same pay . Its demoralising. Give us a decent pay rise and keep your staff happy and improve staff retention. Many people I know will be looking for other jobs outside of the council.
