Community Care Live is just around the corner and, to mark 25 years of our flagship event, we are inviting social workers to tell us how it has supported your learning and development.
Since its inception in 1997, Community Care Live has been a space for social workers to access a free, expert and essential learning, and to network with one another and sector organisations.
We’d love to hear your memories about the event and how it has affected your career – please email communitycare@markallengroup.co.uk.
And if you attended the first-ever CC Live in 1997, please let us know. We’d like to interview you about your social work career and hear your memories of events over the years.
This year’s CC Live will take place on 11 and 12 October at the Business Design Centre in Islington, north London. For the first time, free entry will be extended to occupational therapists, care managers, adult social care workers, registered mental health nurses and social work students in all years of study, not just their final year.
As ever, you will be able to access essential learning from leading practitioners and trainers on the key topics in social work, all for free, while also taking advantage of expert guidance on the law in our paid-for legal stream.
Between seminars, you can focus on your self-care by taking part in our yoga, relaxation and meditation sessions, or network, share good practice and explore opportunities with employers, universities, providers and research bodies.
CC Live is delivered with the support of our event partner, Essex County Council, learning sponsor Hampshire County Council, and Leeds City Council, our event sponsor.
