Community Care has closed its CareSpace discussion foruum at the end of 2013. But there are lots of other ways to engage with other social workers and get involved with the thriving social care online community.

Very disappointing the forum is no longer active. Have you though about getting in contact with a larger active care forum and setting up your own area? I really hope the forum comes back this year, i know there were some parts that were a bit off but it the one UK-based care forum that really stood out.
Hope all is well
I am deeply saddened that CCS has gone, logged on to seek advice and support and it is gone!!! Please bring it back!
Would love a forum just for social work to come back. One that is open to all who love and are or have been involved in social work. But moderation should be peer lead and the rules on behaviour agreed. CC Forum unsustainable and dominated by students and 3 prolific posters who effectively stifled the other parts of the forum, sadly.
Self moderation would be the ideal and the prevention or stopping of trolls another consideration.
I know there are others who would wish a forum but do not know how to set it up.
Self Moderation would be great. Active community members independent of the website acting as admins is the most effective method. Also everyday members being given the power to report and so calling out any trolls.
CareSpace became an irrelevance due to personal attacks and agendas – it probably demonstrated the worst of social workers!
Comments made now in response to news items appear to be well moderated and fewer in number – well done Community Care.
