It is about time they got rid of more of these bullying managers and allocated family support workers to work directly with social workers who know exactly the best way they can help them, the families and children. All the family support teams worry about these days is triple p….a parenting programme where some success can be measured but not the many failings especially with the more troubled families. Supervision in my experience is either non existent or used as a stick to beat the workers with. It is NOT only the managers at the top believe me. Several lower down are bullies that need getting rid of in my view.
